Race for the bell... and for healthy, strong communities

The bell to race forIn seven years, the Cowbell Challenge has grown from a little local race to become one of the premiere endurance mountain biking events in the US. Support from local, regional and national businesses, race teams, bike clubs, mountain bikers of every skill level, outdoor enthusiasts and volunteer junkies make it all possible, from awarding the Cowbell trophies and jerseys to raising and donating money that supports those who suffer from catastrophic illness or injury, and building strong and vibrant communities. There are lots of ways to help:

We work year round to raise money, and more importantly to put together great races that keep mountain bikers coming back to Charlotte year after year. And we're always looking for more great folks who gotta have more cowbell... Ideas for fundraisers and ways to make the race even better are welcome anytime. Just contact us at organizers@cowbellchallenge.org.
