Volunteers Welcome!

June 20-21, 2009, Davidson NC

Town of Davison logoCome for the morning ... stay all day!

We're looking for volunteers, especially on Saturday morning. With the Cowbell Challenge Marathon Race kicking off from Downtown Davidson, we'll need approximately 22 volunteers to assist with traffic during the first 20 minutes of the race. Once all the racers have cleared downtown and are on the course at Fisher Farm Park, we invite you to join us at the park to watch the racing and enjoy the day. As our way of saying thank you, you'll get a complimentary Cowbell Challenge T-shirt.

Meanwhile back at Fisher Farm Park (and the Homewood Suites)....

Setup, check-in and late registration happen on Friday, June 19, starting at 10 am. Check in and late registration take place at the Homewood Suites Hotel, at the same time setup happens at the park. If you have a couple of hours, we can use your help. Check-in and late registration will also take place between 7 am and 9 am on Saturday and Sunday mornings. We'll supply the coffee!

We also need some help throughout the day on both Saturday and Sunday, monitoring the course, helping with restocking hydration stations, and other odds and ends. If you are new to the sport, it's a great way to check out the atmosphere, the preparation and the competition. If you just like hanging out and lending a hand, it's a great way to spend the first days of summer.

Let us know who you are, when you can help and what you would like to do. Fill out the form below and we'll get in touch with you to confirm and answer any questions you might have.
